COACHING SERVICES

As a collaboratively trained attorney, family law mediator, and certified professional coach, Jessica has seen all aspects of her clients’ divorce transition - the before, during, and after. During a major life transition, it is completely normal for individuals to face internal blocks and various stressors that affect their perspective and how they think, feel, and act.  Divorce is one of life’s most critical and challenging transitions, which impacts your future and your children’s future.

Through coaching, Jessica helps individuals in various stages of their life transition.

  • Before: For those contemplating the idea of divorce, we explore resources available for possible reconciliation and/or rebuilding the marital foundation - exploring the thoughts and feelings surrounding the desire of a possible divorce. If divorce is inevitable, we engage in high-level planning and explore process options that are best suited for the particular individual and their family - focusing on respectful and humane, problem-solving methods, whenever possible. If the individual does not proceed with divorce, continued coaching and support may help them through the ups and downs of navigating the reconciliation/rebuilding.

  • During: For those already engaged in the divorce process, Jessica empowers her clients to gain more self-awareness of their thoughts/feelings/actions to help them gain more control of how they move through the divorce. The more conscious one is about their thoughts and feelings, the more control they will have over their experience. If Jessica’s clients are working with other professionals, she helps them navigate the procedures and various stressors that come up along the way.

  • After: Jessica helps divorced individuals rediscover who they are and supports them through the variety of transitions they experience in their post-divorce world (see https://thepostdivorcecoach.com/). Examples of post-divorce topics: (a) co-parenting with your ex; (b) blended family relationships; (c) parenting responsibilities; (d) communication with your ex; (e) financial responsibilities; (f) re-entering the workforce; (g) new careers; (h) self-esteem/confidence; (i) dating; (j) excitement for new chapter; (k) relief; (l) fear of the unknown; (m) physical move to new location; (n) work/life harmony; (o) health and wellness, and the list goes on and on.
